Women of the Bible Quilt- P

I was looking to other people to help me pick the colors for my quilt.  After getting no response I began to think, "Lord what colors should I use in this quilt?" Then the colors purple, blue, crimson/red and white came to me. I began to think what do these colors symbolize in the bible, so I started to google to look for my answers. Here is what I discovered:

Purple: The color purple was found for example in the materials used for constructing of the Tabernacle and Temple. The color purple is associated with royalty and status.

Blue: The color blue is frequently associated with the Tabernacle and Temple furnishings, the sky blue color of sapphire represents heavenly things.

Crimson/Red: Crimson is one of the colors associated with the fine materials used in the construction of the Tabernacle and Temple.

White: In Roman times the giving of white stone symbolized acquittal from crime and innocence. Thus those who overcome sin are purified and cleansed through faith in the Lord Jesus Christ.

Stay tune as I begin this journey to construct the blocks that are associated with the Women of the Bible.
